Meet Jarvis Taylor

In October 2022, singer-songwriter, Adam Pressman, played his first ever performance as a solo artist, opening for Mystery Cassette at Nelms Creekmur's blacksmith shop in the Lake Claire neighborhood of Atlanta, GA. This led to a few more solo performances (under the name Jarvis Taylor) until Adam recruited his good friend and singer, Julie Etzel, to join him on stage. In 2024, Adam and Julie hooked up with Atlanta Producer Will Robertson (Gallop Studios) and recorded and released 3 singles. The Face, Show You How, and The Time Before Too Long.

In 2025, Adam was introduced to mandolin Player Jim Bilotto and guitarist Dave Skalka, by his music teacher, Ben Farmer. Along with drummer, Ben Skalka, the 4 joined Julie and Adam to record 2 more singles (Keep Your Head and Celebrate Myself) with Will Robertson, in August 2025. Jarvis Taylor was now a full band! After an initial release of their new EP "Postcards with Coffee Rings," the band got the attention of the independent music label, Spectra Music Group, and signed a licensing and distribution deal for their EP Release.

The band now performs at various music venues and festivals around the Atlanta area.
